Michael Kors Rose Gold Watch
Oh I haven't blogged for a very long time. I am a very naughty blogger *slaps wrist.
How are you all in blogger land? I hope 2014 is treating you very well so far. It's so far given me a chicken pox ridden baby and a nasty horrible cold that will not budge. I've also been working on a lot of writing for another project so I do apologise for my non-blogging ways, and I will try and get back up and running as normal ASAP!
I wasted to share with you my favourite Christmas present, given to me by my lovely hubby.
Now, I may have given him a few hints, which he obviously received loud and clear, as I got this stunning Michael Kors rose gold watch.
I have NEVER owned a watch before. I know, crazy. I never really saw the point in them, and as I don't really do bracelets, I have never really wanted one. However, when Darren got me my lovely rose gold and diamond bracelet for my birthday in October, I decided wrist jewellery ain't that bad. So, I had a look online and fell in love with this stunner by Michael Kors.
This is the Bradshaw watch and I don't really know all the techy specifications, but it has an analog display, date, time and stopwatch and it's chronograph...and most importantly it's really pretty!
I had to have three links taken out of it, as it was quite big, but now it fits perfectly and I absolutely love it. It goes with everything and finishes off my outfits, giving them a bit more of a smart yet edgy touch.
What do you think of this rose gold beaut? Are you a fan of Michael Kors watches? Enjoy x

Sparkle Sparkle
I have always been a necklace kinda gal. When I ask for jewellery, it's always necklaces, when someone hints they want to buy me jewellery, I hint back, better make it a necklace. Besides my wedding and engagement ring, I rarely wear any other jewellery that isn't a necklace.
So you get it...I like necklaces :)
For a long time now, the type of necklaces I have always gone for have been long simple chains with a funky pendant or charm hanging from it. From a Mulberry fox head to a Star of David, a teddy bear hanging from a balloon to a peace sign, I have a pretty vast selection.
Recently however, my taste has been changing and I have been drawn to statement necklaces, bib necklaces, collar necklaces, whatever you want to call them. The kind that sit neatly below your collar bone and make any simple top seem fashionable and stylish. These types of neck candy are what is more in style at the moment, and I am really glad they came along to break me out of my long chain and pendant funk.
I have put below a selection of my favourites of the moment, those which I have been wearing non stop it seems. All high street purchases, mainly from Topshop, Primark and River Island. Hope you like them!

Minnie Mawi - Jewellery Designer Mawi Collaborates with Disney Couture!
Another collaboration post, and one that I am even more excited about! If you are a reader of my blog, you will be aware that I love Mawi - the amazingly unique and total style statement jewellery designer, who creates beautiful pieces from bracelets, necklaces, rings and brooches.
And now, it has recently been announced that Mawi is collaborating with another of my jewellery loves, Disney Couture (I really am a 5 year old at heart!) - the grown up Disney jewellery range which features iconic Disney characters and attributes.
The range, called Minnie Mawi (natch) is centred around the cartoon diva, Minnie Mouse, and features her iconic and instantly recognisable black mouse ears! which features necklaces, pendants, bracelets and rings with pearls, ribbons, silvers and glittering golds, but look closer and you'll see magical Disney touches with Minnie's iconic ear silhouette repeated in the over-sized beading!
Available exclusively from ASOS at the beginning of September and from Harrods, House of Fraser and Start throughout the autumn. Prices from £32- £150. Enjoy x

Zoe and Morgan's AW11 Collection
Last night I went to the uber trendy and stylish Dean Street Town House Hotel, to attend the AW11 launch (and sample sale) of ultra cool and rock and roll jewellery range Zoe and Morgan. Upon entering the hotel, we were directed to a bedroom on the first floor, which was packed with fashion folk and friends and family of the jewellery designers.
If you're unfamiliar with the range, Zoe and Morgan was officially launched in 2006, and their pieces have featured in Vogue, Elle, pop and InStyle to name but a few!! They are the jewellery brand of choice for fashion editors and word of mouth has caused a flurry of interest amongst the fashionable celebs out there, fans including; Garance Dore, Alexa Chung, Lilly Donaldson, Emma Watson and Kate Moss to name but a few.
The jewellery ranges from rings and earrings to necklaces and bracelets, and it took all of my strength to not forgo a months mortgage to buy the whole lot!! Skulls are blended with flowers, snakes hold turquoise marbles in their mouths, gold plated eternity snake bangles, rings with tiny stars, each containing a single sapphire, slender chains come adorned with the sweetest pendants - tiny fox cubs, little bear faces, rabbits popping out of hats, anchors, "love" and "magic," fox door knockers and, in their AW11 collection, incredible scarab beetles. There's even a collection for the men folk, so you can look equally cool and rock and roll!
I've put a few of my fave pieces below, and make sure you check the website to have a gander. Prices range from anything from £60-£2,000!
Enjoy x

Mawi Please!!
If you are a regular reader of this blog, you would know by now that I have a thing for statement jewellery. OK, I'm more obsessed. If it's big, chunky, gold and adorned with weird and wacky embellishments, then I'm in heaven.
Once upon a time I was a humble little fashion intern at Elle magazine, and it was there that I was introduced to my favourite jewellery brand of all time. I remember trying on a ring that looked like an animal door knocker, a real knuckle duster, and an incredible massive gold chain with a huge round green jewel incased in a gold claw. A fellow intern grimaced at the pieces, herself preferring a simple chain and earrings, but I was in love. If you haven't heard of Mawi, please visit the website now! Celeb fans include fashion queenie and meanie Olivia Palermo and the fierce Rihanna.
I was lucky enough to be given one of the amazing leopard door knocker rings at one of my jobs, and now I covet the rest of the collections! Be warned, these pieces are not for the faint hearted - only wear if you have a spirit as fierce as Queen Beyonce! I've put a few images below. Enjoy! x

Give a Gift from the Heart!
If you haven't started already, it's probably high time you started your Chrissy present shopping. If you're like me, buying presents is a joy (I'm not just saying that, I love buying presents) but hitting the shops in the Christmas rush, perhaps takes the fun out of it. It's always hard to think of the perfect present for your mum, dad, brother, sister, aunty, cat...whatever, so this year, instead of driving yourself bonkers trying to think of something fun, unique and thoughtful, might I suggest a little something? Give a gift from the heart!
The British Heart Foundation (a charity that means a lot to myself and a number of loved ones) has an absolutely fabulous gift section for the holiday season! The girls at the BHF were sweet enough to send me some examples of their presents, which range from cute stocking fillers for him and her, to slightly more substantial goodies.
There really is something for everyone on the website, ranging from cute heart themed jewellery, bath bombs, keyrings, clothing and teddies...and loads more! They also have a great £5 and under stocking filler page, which is perfect for last minute gifts, secret santas and maybe even a little something for yourself.
To be even nicer, you can buy someone an alternative gift voucher – you choose the value of the Alternative Gift voucher, select your free greetings card and they deliver it to you. Once your friend or loved one receives their Alternative Gift voucher they can choose to invest it in one of four areas of the BHF's vital work, by returning the voucher to their freepost address.
The best thing about buying a present from the British Heart Foundation - every penny they get from our Christmas shopping goes straight to their life saving work, so what are you waiting for? Get shopping and help save lives (I always knew shopping was good for your health!)

LEGO Jewellery? Yes Please!
Hands up if you loved LEGO as a kid? It was all about the LEGO/Play Mobil divide in my house, but those colourful building blocks and funny little characters have never lost their appeal. Now being slightly older, LEGO has come back into my life in a more grown up fashion…kind of.
LEGO has just launched a funky limited edition ring! Designed by Lisa Taylor, this fab and stylish rings are the first pieces in the official LEGO jewellery line. The rings are sterling silver and the best part about them, their interchangeable! So, basically you choose one of two ring designs, which come in more than 15 colours – so you can style them up however you like. Taylor will also be producing 23 charms to accessorise the ring, with designs perfect for the festive season such as Christmas trees and flowers.
I really love these rings, as you know from previous entries, I have a thing about funky, quirky jewellery, and these rings set me all of a quiver…I love that you can make them individual by mixing and matching whatever colour you like, as with such a statement bit of bling on your finger, you really don’t need to bother with any other jewellery…unless of course LEGO come up with a few necklace designs!
The rings are available to buy now, exclusively at Selfridges, and retails at £50. The LEGO charms will retail from £15 - £20 each…enjoy x
