Today's Obsession...

I have been really good this year and I hope you don't mind, but I've got my eye on a few fabulous fashion finds which I would REALLY love to receive this year...

Minnie Mawi - Jewellery Designer Mawi Collaborates with Disney Couture!

Another collaboration post, and one that I am even more excited about! If you are a reader of my blog, you will be aware that I love Mawi - the amazingly unique and total style statement jewellery designer, who creates beautiful pieces from bracelets, necklaces, rings and brooches.

And now, it has recently been announced that Mawi is collaborating with another of my jewellery loves, Disney Couture (I really am a 5 year old at heart!) - the grown up Disney jewellery range which features iconic Disney characters and attributes.

The range, called Minnie Mawi (natch) is centred around the cartoon diva, Minnie Mouse, and features her iconic and instantly recognisable black mouse ears! which features necklaces, pendants, bracelets and rings with pearls, ribbons, silvers and glittering golds, but look closer and you'll see magical Disney touches with Minnie's iconic ear silhouette repeated in the over-sized beading!

Mawi Please!!

If you are a regular reader of this blog, you would know by now that I have a thing for statement jewellery. OK, I'm more obsessed. If it's big, chunky, gold and adorned with weird and wacky embellishments, then I'm in heaven.

Once upon a time I was a humble little fashion intern at Elle magazine, and it was there that I was introduced to my favourite jewellery brand of all time. I remember trying on a ring that looked like an animal door knocker, a real knuckle duster, and an incredible massive gold chain with a huge round green jewel incased in a gold claw. A fellow intern grimaced at the pieces, herself preferring a simple chain and earrings, but I was in love. If you haven't heard of Mawi, please visit the website now!
