This Morning's Obsession!

I was having a look at a few shops this morning (online of course) before work, and I came across today's little obsession, which has got me swooning!

This gorgeous cardigan from Warehouse is so sweet, feminine, cosy and even has a smattering of sequins to give it a touch of sparkle...it really has it all, and at £48, it's a real steal!

This is definitely on my shopping list, and I'll be wearing it with everything from slouch socks and boots, to wearing it over a little dress, and even my favourite sequin encrusted skater skirt. The soft colour and cocoon shape are both bang on trend for the new season, so make sure you grab one before they all run out! Enjoy x

how cute is this hat??

Peter Alexander's Disney Collection

So you might remember about a year ago when I first started Belle of the Ball, that I did a post about my favourite sleepwear and leisure wear designer, Peter Alexander (click here to read it again to refresh your memory).

Unfortunately, this is an Australian brand, so I can very rarely indulge in the cute and quirky designs, but I have just seen their new limited collection...and folks...it is awesome! I am a huge, HUGE fan of Disney (the classic movies...not the actual guy) and I was so excited to see that Peter Alexander have collaborated with Disney to create their limited Disney Vintage collection!

Definite stand-outs for me (which is hard to choose as I love them all!) are the Bambi silk nightshirt, the Cinderella nightie, and the Dumbo PJ set...Oh can't I have them all?!?

The best of the Disney classic movies are showcased in the collection, including; Bambi, Cinderella, Dumbo, Snow White, Peter Pan, Lady and the Tramp, 101 Dalmations and Sleeping Beauty...if only they had The Little Mermaid and Beauty and the Beast, my life would be complete.

The collections is utterly feminine and grown-up, while being sweetly child-like...the perfect combination if you're a grown-up but a kid at heart! Enjoy x

Sparkle in Sequins

One of my favourite trends of the season is sequins. I personally believe that sequins shouldn't be left for Chrismakah and New Years, and that they can be worn in your everyday look, without looking brash or gaudy - they simply add a little sparkle. Isn't that what every woman wants from life?!?

So, that being said, I thought I would do a little round up of my favourite sequin pieces that are available to buy now, and show you how to create an everyday look, basing the outfit around sequins. Now I am writing this while wearing a silver sequin skater skirt and breton top, topped off with biker boots, so I really think this is a fashion element you can all bring to your everyday looks!

Here's my everyday sequin look:

1. Grey Faux Fur Trim Cardigan £50 River Island 2. Sheer Sleeve Sequin Tee £48 Topshop 3. Jersey Maxi Skirt £25 River Island 4. Chelsea Boots £45 ASOS

What do you think? Would you wear this outfit? Below is my edit of my favourite sequin pieces of the season. Enjoy x

Must Have Mulberry's Fox Charm Necklace!

I know I did a must-have list yesterday, but I just spotted something else that I am determined to make mine!! Mulberry's AW11 collection is one of my favourites this season - full of beautiful dresses, amazing bags (as always) and a stunning colour palette...and this; the Fox Charm Necklace!

This gorgeous necklace has found a special place in my heart, and is definitely on my bday list! I love long gold necklaces with unusually pendants, and this one is so sweet, I think I'm in love! This season, Mulberry;s accessories are inspired by woodland critters, and the countryside, and this is one of my favourites of their collection. At £150, for Mulberry, this is an absolute bargain and should be on every fashionistas wish list this season...sigh...I want! Enjoy x

Warehouse's Country Inspired Heritage Collection

Now I have never posted about an e-mailer before (those newsletters you get when you sign up to a brands website). As I shop...quite a bit...I have signed up to quite a lot of these newsletters - they're also beneficial for my work, so that's a bonus!

I received one this morning that I HAD to write about. Warehouse send out really great newsletters; creative, colourful and relevant, and this morning, they sent one based around one of my favourite trends for the AW2011 season - heritage.

Here's what that section of the newsletter looked like:

Now, here are the pieces I particularly love in greater detail. What do you think? Will you be buying into the heritage trend? Enjoy x
