Faux Fur Collars

I do love a bit of faux fur. At work it's become a bit of a signature look of mine. I love teaming faux fur with girly dresses, lace, sequins, whatever. It adds such a cool twist!

I used to stick to gilets and hats, but this year I discovered the power of a good faux fur collar, and as such I've been stocking up! My usual haunt for a good collar is H&M, but when I was compiling my list for Santa, I discovered two collars from ASOS that I HAD to add to my collection.

I was checking out the website this evening and discovered, much to my utter delight, both collars were less than half price in the sale! So...I treated myself to both! I love them because they're such great collars, a dark, gothic green (almost black) and a gorgeous bright turquoise, which is perfect for injecting some colour into your wardrobe for winter and spring.

I'll post outfit pics of them once they arrive, but in the meantime, the images from ASOS are below.

I love a Cosy Hat!

Last weekend, I ventured to Rochester with a group of friends to check out their Dickens style Christmas market.

It was a freezing cold day and I wanted to wear my most snug hat, as I knew we would be out and about in the cold for a good few hours. I decided to wear one of my favourite hats (I have quite a few in various shapes and sizes) which is big, fluffy and oh so fabulous!

Of course, not everyone understands my style...and the majority of my crowd thought I was walking along with a sheep on my head. However, I was asked if my picture could be taken twice - once by an American tourist and once by a photographer from a Japanese fashion mag (my favourite kind of fashion), so ha ha...sometimes walking around with an imitation sheep on your head is cool! At least I was the warmest as well that day.

The hat is from River Island, my coat is from Topshop, my boots are from Tesco years ago, my snood is from Sahara and my bag is Jane Norman. What do you think? Are you a fan of my crazy, cosy hat? Enjoy x

Friday Fashion Flash

I am so sorry I have been AWOL for the last few days. I started a new job this week and my laptop decided to die, so I have been unable to blog...I've felt so helpless!!

On the plus side, I've had a great week and have been to a few awesome events, including the launch party for the new Desigual store opening in Oxford Street, which I went to with my friend and fellow blogger. It was an amazing party filled with some gorgeous fashion folks, fab goody bags and some reality show "celebs." what more do you need from a party?! Anyway, more on that another time.

I'm back in the driver's seat now, and to make up for not being able to post a Monday Must Have, I have decided to post it tonight as a Friday Fashion Flash! So, here is what I have been lusting over this week! A stunning knitted dress by Stella McCartney, an uber cute faux fur fox hat by River Island, a pair of stunning tan leather boots from Zara, and....best till last...the Daria bag by Mulberry...now, did I mention it's my birthday next week?? Monday's Must Haves!

I've decided to add a little features called "Monday's Must Haves." Very simply, the items I am coveting each week!

This week I have been eyeing up some gorgeous boots from Zara, a navajo cardigan from Topshop and a stunning faux fur collar Victoriana coat and faux fur trapper hat from River Island...mmm...well...it is my birthday coming up, so this new feature is really well timed!
