Robert Pattinson for Dior Homme

O...M...Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!

I am sorry, but I am literally lost for words. When I saw the new uncensored, director's cut advert for Dior Homme fragrance, featuring none other than one of the most swoon-worthy men on the planet, the delectable Robert Pattinson, I actually almost screamed in a very undignified teenager like way.

But come on, look at him! Forget Twilight, RPatz is a Dior man now and he has never looked better.

If you were team Jacob, I highly recommend watching this video and your allegiance will quickly change to team Edward. Not only does this man sizzle in the advert, with a gorgeous new high fashion look, but he wears Dior like a pro and his frame makes the clothes look fabulous.

Now, if you'll excuse me, I'm just going to stick this little video on repeat...again. Enjoy! x

Beyonce's "Live For Now!"

No I didn't manage to get tickets to Beyonce's "Mrs Carter" tour. After days of attempting to get tickets via every avenue possible, I had to finally give up my mission. It seems getting tickets to her gig was like the quest for the Holy Grail! Waaaaaaaah!!

So, to cheer me up a bit, I wanted to do a teeny post about my queen and her amazing new advert for Pepsi. Entitled "Live For Now," this fab advert showcases Bey choreographing a brand new dance routine in a room of mirrors. She isn't dancing alone though, as in each mirror is Beyonce from one of her past videos, rocking the iconic dance routines from each, and essentially, Beyonce battles herself in one epic dance off!

We see her doing the dances from the likes of Bootylicious, Single Ladies, Crazy In Love, Girls and many more. Cue a lot of costumes, slick moves and a lotta attitude!

One things for sure, this one minute advert will make you want to get up and shake your booty...as well as having a Pepsi...or maybe a Diet Coke will still win it with most of us :)

So here is the advert in its full glory. What do you think of it? Are you a fan? Enjoy x

The Intern and my-wardrobe.com

Hilary Devey's new show The Intern

I was so excited to see that there is a new programme on Channel 4 starring my favourite Dragon's Den Dragon - Hilary Devey, called The Intern.

A great concept, Hilary sets up amazing internships in different industries, to give young people the chance of obtaining a coveted role in the industry that they are struggling to get in to.

As someone who interned for the best part of a year, from everywhere to fashion magazines, PR agencies, freelance stylists etc, I was really happy to hear of such a great opportunity for bright young people, who just need to be given a chance to succeed. I was even more excited when I saw that the most recent episode involved the interns being given a chance to work for one of the best online fashion websites around - mywardrobe.com.

my-wardrobe.com is actually a company I have always been interested in and inspired by. They have beautiful fashion, up and coming designers, a fresh and stylish website and an aspirational quality without being too intimidating. I was therefore really happy that the website founder, Sarah Curran was keen (if not a little sceptical at first) to give one of the bright young things a shot at proving themselves worthy of a role at the company. She said; "I expect a lot from my team and if I see potential I will give that person a role but if I don't, then I’ll be honest and I won't."

The three interns were put through their paces - one proved utterly useless (he managed to clock up a £1,400 bill at a business lunch!) by running photoshoots, entertaining top members of the fashion press, working with bitchy photographers and models etc - all things that do happen on a daily basis at a fashion company - trust me on this one.

From the start I had a soft spot for 18 year old Lisa Palmer from Essex. A very sweet girl with a lot of style and knowledge, it was clear she was lacking confidence (she admitted it was due to her body image), she reminded me a lot of myself when I first started out and I was really rooting for her to succeed. After dealing with difficult models, being left along to handle a member of the fashion press and direct an online photoshoot, she proved her worth and was rewarded with the role at my-wardrobe.com.

I really loved how my-wardrobe.com came across. They didn't sugar coat the industry but at the same time, they showed themselves to be real leaders in regards to the website, the designers they stock, their attitude and their willingness to give people a chance to succeed - many interns who start there go on to become full time members of staff.

David Worby CEO of my-wardrobe.com, said: "We have always supported internships at my-wardrobe and it’s an ideal opportunity to discover and nurture young talent."

Did you watch this episode of The Intern? Have you ever interned in the fashion industry? I'd love to hear your thoughts! Enjoy x

Beyonce Covers Vogue!

Yes I am doing another post about Beyonce...whatever...I love her and this one she REALLY deserves.

Not only do I think Queen Bey is the hottest woman on the planet, but evidently, the hottest fashion magazine on the planet thinks so too.

The May issue of British Vogue was released on Thursday and who is the cover star? None other than the queen of all divas herself making her British Vogue cover debut, looking amazingly spring like in cool blue tones, a blue sequin pencil skirt and a cropped stripe blue top, and flashing her incredibly toned tummy. She is so damn hot!

The whole look has come right off the Jonathan Sanders SS13 runway and Mrs. Carter pulls it off amazingly. The magazine has a whole interview with Beyonce, where she opens up about her marriage, her baby and her work life, with a few stunning photos thrown in to boot!

I love her fresh faced look and natural looking hair. Is there no look this woman can pull off? All I can say is please G-d let my belly look like that one year on. If Bey can do it, I can do it...that is my new mantra.

What do you think of this cover? Will you be picking up a copy? Enjoy x

Beyonce for H&M Confirmed!

It's exciting news if you are a fan of Beyonce...or H&M...or celebrity fashion campaigns.

It has now been confirmed the Beyonce will be the face of H&M's summer campaign! Yay!

After being accidentally leaked on Twitter by one of Bey's dancers back in January, the brand have now revealed one of the gorgeous shots of the diva, which will be being featured this summer.

My favourite ever singer will be modelling pieces inspired by her individual style, in particular, beachwear and swimwear pieces. The shoot took place in the Bahamas, and features Beyonce chilling out on sun loungers and posing by the sea. According to sources at the shoot, Beyonce gave her own "personal input on the pieces used in the campaign." Expect some fierce shots if this is the case!

"I've always liked H&M's focus on fun affordable fashion. I really loved the concept we collaborated on to explore the different emotions of women represented by the four elements -fire, water, earth and wind," said Knowles. "It was a beautiful shoot on a tropical island. It felt more like making a video than a commercial."

The print advert will run alongside a television commercial, which will feature a brand new Beyonce song - Standing on the Sun.

I personally cannot wait to see all of the final images and the advert with her new song. Yes I know I am a complete push over when it comes to Mrs. Carter...but Beyonce + H&M = sheer genius!

Are you looking forward to seeing the finished campaign? Enjoy x

Harrods' Disney Princess Christmas Windows

This post was meant to go up last week, so sorry about that! As the news is a little old now...well...a week old, which is still quite old in the fashion world!

I don't need to hark on again about how much I love Christmas, but I want to do a special post about a certain department store's AMAZING Christmas windows.

Combining three of my favourite things - Christmas, Disney and fashion - Harrods have created windows, which have come straight from my dreams.

Some of the biggest names in fashion have come together to create their own interpretations of iconic Disney princess gowns. The display coincides with the 7,000 square foot Disney princess pop up boutique on the fourth floor, which is opened now.

These spectacular windows were revealed to the public last Thursday, and they do not disappoint.

From Oscar De La Renta's vision of Snow White's classic look to Marchesa's beautiful interpretation of Ariel from The Little Mermaid and Versace's stunning take on Cinderella to Missoni's vision of Mulan, these displays are simply amazing and will take anyone's breath away.

I've put the sketches and final shots of the dresses below. What do you think of this gorgeous window display? Will you be heading down to Harrods to take a look? Enjoy x

Halloween Fashion Must Haves

It's that time of year again - the nights are drawing in, the days are getting colder, the clocks go back, leaves are falling from the trees and Halloween is almost upon us (which mean's it's also almost Christmas! yay!)

I love a bit of Halloween fun - we always stock the house with sweet treats for kiddies Trick or Treating, some years we dress up and go to costume parties and this year I am seriously thinking about creating my own pumpkin Jack O Lantern.

Just because it's a time of year to dress up in spooky costumes, does not mean you have to look like a scary old witch! This season, the glamorous gothic trend is all the rage, and looking dark and decadent is "So hot right now."

With that in mind, I've done a little round up of some of my favourite Halloween inspired pieces on the high street, to get you in that spooky frame of mind - I know we still have 5 days to go, but start planning now if you have a big Halloween party to go to - or if you just want to get into the spirit.

Do you think this little lot are tricks or treats? Are you planning anything fun for Halloween this year? Enjoy x

Bond Girl Glamour!

I am not a James Bond fan - never have been and never will be. OK, yes Daniel Craig is extremely delectable and lovely to watch, but I couldn't take a whole film (I'll leave that to my dad).

So I am not doing a Bond post, even though Adele's song Skyfall for the latest Bond movie...ahem...Skyfall, is amazing. However, it was the Skyfall premiere in London town last night and the stars were out, strutting down that red carpet.

In honour of red carpet fashion (not James Bond) I had to pay tribute to the two drop dead gorgeous Bond girls in the latest epic; Berenice Marlohe and Naomie Harris. Fairly unknown, until now of course, these two stunning girls looked as different as night and day on the red carpet, both showcasing completely different yet equally fabulous looks.

Berenice Marlohe looked sizzling in a red strapless ballgown by Vivienne Westwood, which, although beautiful, created the classic error of blending into the red carpet. Whoops! Still looked hot though!

British actress Naomie Harris won the award for look of the night though. She dazzled in a daringly sheer gown with a sparkling bodice by Marios Schwab. Maybe on anyone else, this might not have worked, but on her elegant and gorgeous frame, this dress truly stole the show.

Which dress wins for you?

And just for our enjoyment, here is a little piccie of the man himself working the red carpet. You go Daniel! Enjoy x

Rihanna Scores Her Second US Vogue Cover

I am having a major girl crush on Rihanna right now.

Whenever she goes for a short hair style, I always find her so much more gorgeous, and she always makes me want to chop my hair off too!

Well, it seems that US Vogue is feeling the love for this sexy songstress too, and have landed her her second cover.

Her first cover was back in April 2011, when she was sporting luscious red locks and a shimmering Chanel gown. Check it out below.

This time, Rhi Rhi is rocking a more demure look. A gorgeous cropped, pixie style and a beautiful red dress and matching red pout. Here it is:

This sweet cover was shot by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz and scores an A+ with me!

What do you think of Rihanna's second Vogue cover? Enjoy x

Christian Louboutin's AW12 Campaign...In Paris

Alright fine, so I'll never really be able to afford a pair of Louboutin's red soled beauties...but that doesn't mean I can't lust after them and drool over the latest campaigns.

I always love it when a designer thinks outside the box when it comes their seasonal campaigns, and this season has seen some of my favourites (hello Mulberry's amazing monsters in the woods), and shoe genius Christian Louboutin has not let me down.

What better way to showcase these stunning fancy footwear than in the city of fashion, lights, culture and beauty - Paris. Christian Louboutin recently commissioned photographer Peter Lippman to showcase their autumn winter 2012 collection using the gorgeous city of Paris as a backdrop. The collection stands out with gargoyles at Notre Dame, through water with the fountain at the Place de la Concorde and on the Pont Des Arts bridge.

Hmm...the man actually managed to make his shoes even more desirable. Damn you Louboutin and may my bank manager forgive me!

What do you think of this latest campaign? Enjoy x

Lea Michele Sizzles for L'Oreal

GLEE fans rejoice! Iconic beauty brand L'Oreal have just announced that Glee star Lea Michele is their new ambassador!

Lea looks absolutely stunning in the campaign shots - classic, timeless, beautiful and natural. Apparently, the Glee star has always been a fan of make-up and L'Oreal;Growing up on stage, I was introduced to makeup at a young age and I will never forget the first time I tried on a L’Oréal Paris iconic lipstick," she says. "It was instant glamour and I’ve been hooked ever since!"

The actress has said that she has been a fan of the brand for years and 'Because You're Worth It' means more to her than a catchy slogan. "It wasn’t until I was a bit older that I fully understood the brand’s message of a woman’s worth, which I wholeheartedly agree with," she said.
Cyril Chapuy, the Global Brand President of L’Oréal Paris said, “I am thrilled that Lea joins our roster of amazing Spokespersons.  In just a few years, her incredible talent has made her one of the most popular young actress in a TV series. Lea is fun, committed, genuine, with an inspiring sense of style, in total resonance with the Brand’s values."
I cannot wait to see what other amazing shots come out of this collaboration. I love Lea Michele because, yes she is beautiful, but she is not intimidatingly so - girls can relate to her. Plus her Glee character is one of my favourite characters of all time!
Unfortunately, we're going to have to wait until next year to see the campaign and watch the advert :^( I can't wait though! What do you think of this collaboration? Is Lea Michele a good choice for L'Oreal? Enjoy x
