Must Have Dress From Wallis!

I have got quite a few weddings to go to this year, including 3 in the summer months. As such, I have been on the hunt for the perfect dresses to wear to each special occasion. As several of the weddings are family affairs and thus have the same-ish guests, it is important to wear something different at each wedding. Luckily for me, I work somewhere where gorgeous dresses come in abundance, however, I can only borrow so many!

Therefore, I have been searching for a few extra dresses...and shoes...and handbags :)

I couldn't actually believe it when I spotted this stunning one shoulder maxi dress from...Wallis! I have never really shopped at Wallis. My mum LOVES Wallis and she always looks gorgeous in their styles. Recently I have noticed them taking a younger, more fashion forward approach to their designs, following the all important trends but giving them a slightly more grown-up edge.

I love one shoulder designs, and the vibrant, almost neon aztec print is perfect for a summer wedding. I have noticed that the final dress on sale is slightly different to the campaign shot dress, but I do appreciate that styles and designs can change from post-production samples to the final article. I have also managed to track down the fabulous gladiator sandals that the model wears in the campaign image, and if I'm quick, I can get the whole outfit for £67! Ooh...I'd be silly not to really.

What do you think of the dress? Have you bought anything from Wallis recently? Enjoy x

I Heart Printed Trousers

A couple of years ago, I bought a pair of silk tapered trousers with a fabulous Aztec print on them. This was during the summer when a lightweight pair of trousers are the perfect choice for work or play. However, when I wore these printed lovelies, the comments came in thick and fast..."Ooh...their unusual" "you look weird" "I wish I had the confidence to wear something like that" you get the picture!

Now I thought these trousers were fabulous, and the fact that I didn't really see anyone else (apart from a brave few) wearing something like this, made me feel...special!

Well, it seems as if everyone else has finally caught up with this fab trend, and printed trousers have suddenly flooded the high street! Designers showed them strutting down their runways for the SS12 collections, and the styles and prints that the high street have adopted make these trousers suitable for now and for going into autumn!

I've chosen a few of my favourite styles that have caught my eye, with prints ranging from tropical (thank you Stella McCartney) to floral to tribal to abstract! There's a print for every mood.

What do you think about printed trousers? Would you be brave enough to rock a pair? Enjoy x

Kate Moss Wears Primark For Her Hen Weekend!

Well well, it seems not all celebs deck themselves out in designer finest for the special events in their lives! Kate Moss has just had a hen weekend, at the Isle of Wight festival...as you do, and what did she choose to wear for this important occasion?

The answer is...PRIMARK! Miss Moss was spotted wearing a fab, aztec print poncho from the cheap as chips, fast fashion haven, which looked slightly Diane Von Furstenburg-esque. Who would have thunk it? Flying the flag high for the high street, Kate looked every inch cool and stylish, and for a mere £18, so can you!

I'm pretty sure once this pic hits the weekly mags, this poncho will be a sell-out, so if you want it...act fast! Enjoy x
