Lea Michele Sizzles for L'Oreal

GLEE fans rejoice! Iconic beauty brand L'Oreal have just announced that Glee star Lea Michele is their new ambassador!

Lea looks absolutely stunning in the campaign shots - classic, timeless, beautiful and natural. Apparently, the Glee star has always been a fan of make-up and L'Oreal;Growing up on stage, I was introduced to makeup at a young age and I will never forget the first time I tried on a L’Oréal Paris iconic lipstick," she says. "It was instant glamour and I’ve been hooked ever since!"

The actress has said that she has been a fan of the brand for years and 'Because You're Worth It' means more to her than a catchy slogan. "It wasn’t until I was a bit older that I fully understood the brand’s message of a woman’s worth, which I wholeheartedly agree with," she said.
Cyril Chapuy, the Global Brand President of L’Oréal Paris said, “I am thrilled that Lea joins our roster of amazing Spokespersons.  In just a few years, her incredible talent has made her one of the most popular young actress in a TV series. Lea is fun, committed, genuine, with an inspiring sense of style, in total resonance with the Brand’s values."
I cannot wait to see what other amazing shots come out of this collaboration. I love Lea Michele because, yes she is beautiful, but she is not intimidatingly so - girls can relate to her. Plus her Glee character is one of my favourite characters of all time!
Unfortunately, we're going to have to wait until next year to see the campaign and watch the advert :^( I can't wait though! What do you think of this collaboration? Is Lea Michele a good choice for L'Oreal? Enjoy x

Best and Worst Dressed at the Emmys

I just wanted to give a quick rundown of who I thought sparkled and who...well...didn't basically, at last nights Emmy Awards. One thing seemed to stand out, the amount of shiny and wet-look dresses that were worn on the red carpet, which, for me, really don't work. Shiny can equal a bit cheap looking, and for some of these gowns, I'm afraid they looked just that - despite the designer price tag! In other news, bold, vibrant colour blocks seemed to be the star's choice this year - especially jewel tones in reds and blues.

Here's my verdict:

Hot

Kate Winslet looked every inch the star that she is in a hot red Elie Saab number

Kelly Osbourne looked stunning in a deep plum J Mendel fishtail gown

Katie Holmes just made it into the hot list in this blue Calvin Klein dress - gorgeous colour but not really red carpet

Nina Dobrev...WOW!

Sarah Hyland looks fresh, modern and beautiful - love the silver accessories

Julie Bowen looked effortlessly cool and chic in Oscar De La Renta

love this red Marchesa dress on Glee star Lea Michele

Not

I do love you Gwyneth, but this cut away dress by Pucci has left me scratching my head in confusion!

Christina Hendricks - stunning figure, gorgeous face, but this dress just does not do it for me

This graphic dress by Oscar de la Renta looks just wrong on Claire Danes - a bit too funky and cool for a red carpet event

Toooooo many ruffles for Heidi Klum. It just makes her look bulky and this super model is anything but!

It's a miss for Dianna Agron in this shiny Roksanda Illinic dress

Too shiny, clingy and just a bit...bleurgh I'm afraid Jane Krakowski

I love the colour of this gown, but again...too shiny and the shape does nothing for you Amy Poehler

GLEE Cast Support Vogue's Fashion Night Out

OK you fashion loving Gleeks, be prepared for amazingness...I am a huge Glee fan, obsessed with the show, so you can imagine my excitement when I came across a video of the Glee cast covering David Bowie's "Fashion," in support of Vogue's Fashion Night Out!

The one off video involves the whole cast looking amazing and super stylish, strutting their stuff down the runway. Lea Michele who plays the infamous Rachel Berry looks insanely gorgeous in a sequin Balmain mini-dress, and Dianna Agron who plays the beautiful Quinn, gets my vote for best dressed in a very on-trend androgyny meets sequins meets 1940s kind of look...trust me, the girl looks good!

The whole cast in fact looks amazing, the guys have made the move from high school casual to high fashion fabulous (Puckerman looks H.O.T) It even features everyones favourite cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester, played by Jane Lynch, shouting 'I love fashion' and 'get out there and shop' through her megaphone.

Basically, this video is fashion genius, and as it was only aired in the states last night, you can be one of the first to check it out...here! Enjoy x
