In Love With Topshop's AW11 Look Book

I love it when a brand releases a look book on their website. It's a great way to showcase their best pieces in their collections and it gives the customer inspiration of how to put key looks together in a fun way. You would think that every brand or designer would adopt this simple yet extremely effective extra, but strangely, they don't. Hopefully it is something that they will all do eventually, but, in the meantime, I thought I would share with you some images from one of my favourite look books; Topshop.

Their AW11 look book comprises of four main trends which they have captured beautifully; Bavaria, Glam Underground, New Mod and Prim and Proper. Now, being the kind of girl I am, Bavaria sums up what I love about AW11 the best; textures, faux fur, colour, knits and fun!

So, here are my pick of the best. Enjoy x

Warehouse's Country Inspired Heritage Collection

Now I have never posted about an e-mailer before (those newsletters you get when you sign up to a brands website). As I shop...quite a bit...I have signed up to quite a lot of these newsletters - they're also beneficial for my work, so that's a bonus!

I received one this morning that I HAD to write about. Warehouse send out really great newsletters; creative, colourful and relevant, and this morning, they sent one based around one of my favourite trends for the AW2011 season - heritage.

Here's what that section of the newsletter looked like:

A great selection of the beautiful heritage colours, tweeds, faux fur, muted floral prints, and lady-like blouses...lovely! Really makes me want the cold weather to hurry up!!

Now, here are the pieces I particularly love in greater detail. What do you think? Will you be buying into the heritage trend? Enjoy x

Today's Obsession

Just a quickie...I wanted to share the amazing purchase I made today.

One of the trends for AW11 that I am going to be heavily channelling this season, is the Navajo trend. I love the colours, textures and substance of this trend, and the fact that you only have to wear one Navajo inspired piece to make your whole outfit look fresh and ultra on-trend.

That being said, I found the most amazing scarf from Next - not my normal shopping destination - but I saw this scarf on Fashion Foie Gras a couple of weeks ago, and knew that I had to have it! I love the rustic colours and pattern, and will be teaming it with chunky knits and tan boots to create a fun winter look.

Here's the scarf if you fancy getting yourself one, at only £16, can you afford not too?? Enjoy x
