Sarah Jessica Parker in GLEE

Eeeeek!!!!!

Two of my favourite things - fashion and Glee have come together to create an amazing cameo for the fourth season of my fave show.

None other than style icon Sarah Jessica Parker is to make a fabulous guest appearance in the latest season of Glee.

In this ground breaking episode, SJP plays the role of Vogue.com editor, Isabelle Wright, who is meeting Kurt, who is a potential Vogue intern.

Naturally, SJP was styled by none other than Vogue Editor-in-Chief, Anna Wintour and her wardrobe features looks by Prabal Gurung, Altuzarra, Belstaff, and Fendi. "It's fashion, but it's not crazy and eccentric" said Parker. "We're doing very strong, simple shifts. It's sexy, hard, and facilitative."

It hasn't been stated how many episodes SJP will appear in, so I guess we'll just have to wait until the newest season airs early next year. Boooooooooo!!!

In the meantime, here is a just released clip of the two most fabulous stylista's on TV first meeting. Enjoy x

Christian Louboutin's AW12 Campaign...In Paris

Alright fine, so I'll never really be able to afford a pair of Louboutin's red soled beauties...but that doesn't mean I can't lust after them and drool over the latest campaigns.

I always love it when a designer thinks outside the box when it comes their seasonal campaigns, and this season has seen some of my favourites (hello Mulberry's amazing monsters in the woods), and shoe genius Christian Louboutin has not let me down.

What better way to showcase these stunning fancy footwear than in the city of fashion, lights, culture and beauty - Paris. Christian Louboutin recently commissioned photographer Peter Lippman to showcase their autumn winter 2012 collection using the gorgeous city of Paris as a backdrop. The collection stands out with gargoyles at Notre Dame, through water with the fountain at the Place de la Concorde and on the Pont Des Arts bridge.

Hmm...the man actually managed to make his shoes even more desirable. Damn you Louboutin and may my bank manager forgive me!

What do you think of this latest campaign? Enjoy x

Lea Michele Sizzles for L'Oreal

GLEE fans rejoice! Iconic beauty brand L'Oreal have just announced that Glee star Lea Michele is their new ambassador!

Lea looks absolutely stunning in the campaign shots - classic, timeless, beautiful and natural. Apparently, the Glee star has always been a fan of make-up and L'Oreal;Growing up on stage, I was introduced to makeup at a young age and I will never forget the first time I tried on a L’Oréal Paris iconic lipstick," she says. "It was instant glamour and I’ve been hooked ever since!"

The actress has said that she has been a fan of the brand for years and 'Because You're Worth It' means more to her than a catchy slogan. "It wasn’t until I was a bit older that I fully understood the brand’s message of a woman’s worth, which I wholeheartedly agree with," she said.
Cyril Chapuy, the Global Brand President of L’Oréal Paris said, “I am thrilled that Lea joins our roster of amazing Spokespersons.  In just a few years, her incredible talent has made her one of the most popular young actress in a TV series. Lea is fun, committed, genuine, with an inspiring sense of style, in total resonance with the Brand’s values."
I cannot wait to see what other amazing shots come out of this collaboration. I love Lea Michele because, yes she is beautiful, but she is not intimidatingly so - girls can relate to her. Plus her Glee character is one of my favourite characters of all time!
Unfortunately, we're going to have to wait until next year to see the campaign and watch the advert :^( I can't wait though! What do you think of this collaboration? Is Lea Michele a good choice for L'Oreal? Enjoy x

Kate Middleton Looking Gorgeous on Tour!

Oh I do love Kate Middleton!

This beautiful woman is such a role model, and her class, beauty, style and personality make her the perfect representative of our country.

While on tour in Asia, Kate has made a style statement on every single day. The Duchess of Cambridge is in South East Asia with her royal hubby Prince William to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and her clothing choices have left us green with wardrobe envy.

Kate Middleton and Prince William's first public appearance was to the Singapore Botanical Gardens, where Duchess Kate wore a cream kimono-style dress by Jenny Packham.

On day two of their tour The Duchess of Cambridge wore a white broderie anglaise Alexander McQueen belted dress which she teamed with her favourite navy blue Russell & Bromley wedges straight off the high street.

Kate looked gorgeous in a purple and silver shift dress by Prabal Gurung, which she wore to attend Prince William's Guard Of Honour review, and later wore a pretty red, black and ivory print dress by Asian designer Raoul. For day three, she opted for another Jenny Packham number in blue lace, before flying to Kuala Lumpur, where she wore another Alexander McQueen gown.

On day four (when those awful photos of Kate were leaked in France) she maintained dignity (another reason why I love her!) and followed religious protocol by wearing a white chiffon dress by Beulah with a traditional headscarf.

On day five, rocked beige trousers and a dark green shirt on a trip to the Borneo Rainforest and on day six, Kate and Wills landed in the Solomon Islands, where she wore an Island Print dress.

Wow, what a fashion round up! I've put a selection of my favourite pics below. What do you think of Kate's tour style? Enjoy x

River Island Wish List

I am such a huge fan of River Island, but I have to admit, I have always been partial to their autumn/winter ranges over their spring/summer - this might have something to do with the fact that I love winter clothes more than summer ones!

Their autumn/winter collections in my opinion are always more high fashion led, more stylish and far more interesting. This season, I love how they have gone quite grungy, following that amazing 90's trend we saw on the AW12 catwalks, and their collections are covered in studs and consist of checks, chunky boots, fabulous knitwear, character accessories, grungy tees and all that great stuff, which reminds me so much of Claire Danes in My So Called Life.

After drooling over their website, and while the bump is still relatively small, I have compiled a wee wish list of my favourite pieces.

What do you think of River Island's AW12 collection? Have you spotted anything which you need in your wardrobe? Enjoy x

Louise Gray for Topshop

This post is about a week to late, so apologies that it's not very up to date!

Back in the days when I was a fashion PR (bleurgh) one of my first accounts was the amazingly talented Louise Gray. At the time, she was relatively unknown, and just making a break through in the fashion world.

Well, fast forward a few years and Louise Gray has gone from strength to strength. Her shows are some of the most highly anticipated at London Fashion Week and her collections combine humour, colour and serious individual style.

The high street has also picked up on her awesome-ness and Topshop have collaborated with Miss Gray once again, to create a fabulous and affordable collection, this time, combining fashion and make up...amazing!!

A stunning selection of sequins, sparkles, design and beautiful craftsmanship. With prices ranging from £130 - £200, grab yourself a piece now before it's all gone.

What do you think of Louise Gray? Have you ever bought anything from her collaborations? Enjoy x
