Calling all Chanel fans...screw that...calling all bag fans, master of the iconic bag, Chanel are launching a stunning new collection, inspired by a cartridge bag, originally made for hunters and carried by Coco Chanel herself, and named after the love of her life, Boy Capel, who heavily influenced her the boyish style, this is a must-buy...if you can afford it...and even if you can't, beg, borrow or steal (maybe not steal!)
Boy Chanel is a family of compact leather bags with squared corners and burnished hardware. It’s full of details that place it alongside the label’s more recognisable bags - most importantly, the subtle CHANEL stitching and gold, interlocking CC.
I love the long handle, which makes it perfect for slinging over your shoulder and around your body in a gorgeous boyish style.
Please can I have one please PLEASE?? Enjoy x

Michelle Glam-Bama!!
So the UK has just had a very important visit Mr and Mrs Obama, who came to do all sorts of important state visit things...I don't know what exactly, what I do know is that Michelle Obama looked absolutely fierce! She really is the first lady of fashion and never really fails to dress to impress.
Let's have a look at what she rocked during their vist:
Looking beautiful in a vibrant shade of blue, this lovely ensemble is by British (natch) designer duo Thornton Bregazzi.
My least favourite of her looks. This Barbara Tfank Resort 2011 prom dress is a little airy fairy, especially when worn with the sugar pink bolero. One nil to Kate I think!
Whoo hoom back to fashion fabulous-ness! Mrs. O looks radiant in this pinky/purple wool crepe dress by Brit-fash fave Roksanda Ilincic, topped off with a stunning coat by Narciso Rodriguez...colour blocking at its best!
Save the best till last, here, Mrs O looks absolutely stunning at the State Dinner at Buckingham Palace, wearing a gorgeous ivory gown by Tom Ford and fabulous gloves which showcase her perfectly toned arms...jealous? me? You go MObama!! Enjoy x

A Princess In Reiss
So the newlyweds are back from their honeymoon and it's time to get back to reality...yeh right...royal reality!
The young royals are back, bronzed and blissful and their first royal appointment was with Obama and the First Lady...and what did our girl choose to don for this special occassion? McQueen? Issa? Chanel? Our girl? Hell no...Kate is a true high street gal at heart and chose to rock a £175 bandage dress in beige by Reiss. Watch this little baby sell out faster than you can say "I want to marry Harry." The shade looked gorgeous against her new tan and K-Mid looked demure, glowing and the epitome of a 21st Century princess.
Welcome back Kate, can't wait to see the next outfit! Enjoy x

Exciting new brands and designers and Chambord showcased at Fashion Press Week!
Last night myself and fellow blogger, fashion writer and all round lovely person Rachael Oku met up to attend Fashion Press Week, a really great concept where loads of brands and designers all showcase their latest designs together in one location, to make it nice and easy to view them all!
It was held at One Marylebone, a beautiful location in the heart of London which was once a church and is now a gorgeous destination. Chambord held a fab drinks reception with champagne/chambord cocktails and there was lots of fashiony type people milling about the whole evening enjoying their chambord and champers!
After enjoying the yummy drinks, we had a look around at the designers and brands showcased. There were some gorgeous pieces, including Viyella, a brand I hadn't really looked at before, but their mix of quirky prints, knits and printed dresses had as oohing and ahhing...loved their menswear too and had a bit of an urge to fling on some of the chunky men's cardis!
We saw a fab new accessory brand called Buba, all hand made handbags, jewellery and even bean bags covered in beautiful jewels. Marc Cain was there showcasing their AW11 collection, and as beautiful as it was, we didn't see anything too groundbreaking.
Another favourite was Viking Wong. A designer orginally from Hong Kong (and yes, that is his real name!) who creates simple and well structured designs, mainly monochromatic colourways, with a tendency to look a bit inside out...loved it! Also fell in love with London based label Knock on the Door, who use different designers to create their collection. We especially loved designer Christine Hall's t-shirt designs with Peter Pilotto-esque prints and mesh backs. Kooky but fab!
Loads more to go on about, so will do another post later with some pictures from the night. For now, enjoy! x

H&M Is Moving To Selfridges
High Street giant, and personal favourite shopping haunt of mine, H&M (who remembers when it used to be good old hennes?!) has found itself a brand new home!
As if the awesome new flagship store on Regent Street wasn't good enough, designer haven and London landmark Selfridges has opened it's doors to H&M and given them a primo spot on their so called "Cheap Floor- well, they have Topshop, Oasis, All Saints all stationed there.
Hopefully this means they'll be adding even more designer collaborations to their growing collection. Just thing how fab the launch party will be if being held in the fashion maze that is Selfridges!
The concession is due to open this summer (exact date to be confirmed) so watch this space! Enjoy x

Cheryl Cole's New Look!
Well, the girl dun good. National sweetheart Cheryl Cole has landed the gig of the year - a judges spot on Simon Cowell's latest venture, the American X Factor.
Along with a new job, comes a whole new look it seems! Chezza has been papped rocking a...erm...subtle new look. Colour blocking to the extreme wearing a Oscar de la Renta orange ruffle top, turquoise belt and Diane Von Furstenburg purple trousers. Not only that, she is also sporting a bit of a bouffant. Well, that's an understatement...her hair is huge! Backcombed towards an inch of its life, it seems Chezza really has gone all out to impress.
Let's just hope tinseltown doesn't chew her up and spit her out, and that those yanky doodles understand her rather thick accent...well, if I have trouble, I can only imagine! What do you think of her new look? Good luck Cheryl, enjoy! x

Topshop's New Gypsy Rocker Collection
The fabulous Topshop has always been one of my favourite British High Street haunts. Much to my hubby's dismay, I can never pass a Toppers without somehow magically being swept into it and having a quick (alright, lengthy) peruse at its latest collections.
However, this season I haven't been very impressed. Normally I would find an armful of dresses, cardis and skirts that I would have to justify buying, but for the last few times I've been in, I have been able to walk out without a single purchase. Thankfully, this has all changed now, thanks to the new Gypsy Rocker collection!
Bored of the normal festival/hippy inspired summer collections? The Gypsy Rocker collection brings together the best of the these trends and combines them with a dash of gypsy rose, a touch of rocker and a lot of attitude! Frills and kitsch prints and fruit prints (inspired by Stella McCartney's SS11 collection no doubt) tropical jewellery and embroidery make this collection fun, playful and perfect for the summer months.
Personal favourites have the be a gorgeous black suede fringe bag, a fab Navajo fringed crop top, a sweet blazer jacket covered in tiny elephants and an essential cream tiered maxi skirt.
I've put a few pics below to give you a taster, but you should visit the collection to get a real idea (and be prepared to part with your money!). Enjoy x
